OUR HAPPY ENDING

Italian Business Mogul, Salvador Gorenili, finds himself at the center of the world of a large chauvinistic Indian family - where the men excessively abuse and exploit their women, through his marriage to one of their daughters.

He tries not to make it his business because they go to great lengths to pretend that all is well until he discovers that the life of his favorite sister-in-law is about to be irrevocably ruined. Resolving not to let his wife's infidelity nor his decision to divorce her interfere with his decision to help his favorite sister-in-law, he goes to see her the next morning after their big fight the night before and is met with the horrifying news of her demise; that she had burned herself to death because she could not handle the reality of their impending divorce.

Aggrieved and shaken to his core amidst the nagging suspicion that his wife had rather been murdered, Salvador falls prey to the emotional blackmail this family pins on him, but takes control of the situation and marries his favorite sister-in-law instead, to protect her.
