Growing up in the Amazon rainforest gave Autumn the rarest of friendships – she discovers a lost jaguar cub named Hope. When a tragic event forces Autumn to leave Hope for the unknown of New York, she dreams for years of returning to the rainforest to be with her boyfriend. Autumn, 14 years old and accustomed to city life, discovers that her childhood village is under threat from animal traffickers and decides to return to the Amazon to be with her beloved jaguar. Anja (Emily Bett Rickards) – Autumn’s lovably awkward biology teacher – tries unsuccessfully to dissuade her from this reckless plan. Autumn and Anja embark on a journey to reunite Hope and save her from those seeking to destroy the rainforest and its wildlife.
